Recommended Prior Learning

Students should have successfully completed the Level 2 Mathematics and Statistics course during Year 12 (14 credits or more) to have the essential skills needed to support them with the content of this course.

This course works at a high literacy level, and it is recommended students have successfully completed a Level 2 English course.

Their Mathematics teacher will be available to help guide students with their selection choices for Year 13 so that they can maximise their likelihood to succeed.

The topics covered by this course are based on both statistics and algebra. This course gives students the opportunity to gain up to 19 credits from Level 3 from the approved university entry list.
