Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr F. Khan.

Students will learn how to:

  • Develop a conceptual design for an outcome using relevant conventions(including web, coding, design elements and principles and Nielsen’s Heuristics)
  • Use advanced processes (including project management tools and techniques) to develop a digital media outcome(web-HTML & CSS)
  • Use feedback from end users/stakeholders and information testing from testing procedures to improve their outcome.
  • Address relevant implications.
  • Use the process of iteration.
  • Plan and create a computer program using Python/Java, adhering to the advanced concepts in Computer Science(optional)
  • Plan and create a relational database(optional)
  • Students will look at advanced concepts in Computer Science.   Topics include computer security, encryption, error control, complexibility and traceability and AI(3 hour external exam)
