Course Description

This course leads to L2CAL or L2MAS. This course is to support students in attaining the required numeracy credits for NCEA certification.

All students complete two internally assessed standards across the academic year (each worth 5 credits) for a total of 10 credits at Level 1. Additionally, students will have an opportunity to complete the Numeracy standard US32406 for 10 numeracy credits.

In addition to a laptop computer and some general stationery, specific items for each course will be confirmed at the beginning of each school year.

NOTE: Casio graphics calculator is highly recommended for all senior Mathematics courses e.g. fx9860gii
