9 Mathematics Targeted Numeracy
9MTN Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Mrs K. Kim.
This course is in response to students’ needs and teacher recommendations. This course offers 4 periods of additional support for students who are tracking just below the numeracy corequisite success threshold to work on preparing them to sit the assessment in Year 10. It is a one semester course that students can either complete in Year 9 or Year 10 with a focus on numeracy skills needed in the numeracy corequisite.

In addition to a laptop computer and some general stationery, specific items for each course will be confirmed at the beginning of each school year.
As an indication, for this course you are likely to need:
- 1E5 Exercise Book x2
- 4 Colour Pen
- Protractor
- Scientific Calculator for example fx82au
NOTE: Casio graphics calculator is highly recommended for all senior Mathematics courses e.g. fx9860gii
