10 Mathematics

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs K. Kim.

Students will engage in thinking mathematically and statistically in a range of meaningful contexts, across all strands of the New Zealand Curriculum, at an appropriate level. Students will sit the Numeracy co-requisite US32406 or US32412 during Year 10.

Students who pass the numeracy corequisite progress to L1MTH and those who are not successful yet will move onto the L1MTN course.

EQUIPMENT/STATIONERY:
In addition to a laptop computer and some general stationery, specific items for each course will be confirmed at the beginning of each school year.
As an indication, for this course you are likely to need:
- 1E5 Exercise Book x4
- 4 Colour Pen
- Protractor
- Scientific Calculator for example fx82au
NOTE: Casio graphics calculator is highly recommended for all senior Mathematics courses e.g. fx9860gii
