Students will develop an understanding of fundamental astronomical and geological concepts including star characteristics and life cycle, planetary and solar system formation, volcanoes, earthquakes and local surface feature formation as well as investigating a global environmental issue. Students will learn to apply knowledge of Earth and Space to explain aspects of the material world. This course is designed to prepare students for tertiary study in one of the Sciences.
EQUIPMENT/STATIONERY:
In addition to a laptop computer and some general stationery, specific items for each course will be confirmed at the beginning of each school year.
