Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr F. Khan.

Students will learn how to:

  • Develop a website using HTML and CSS
  • Take end users into account and use the process of iteration throughout their design, development and testing phase
  • Effectively use design elements
  • Address relevant implications in their outcomes e.g. understanding the correct ethical procedures when producing, using and storing data
  • Create a flexible and robust program using Python/Java as the programming language whilst following conventions of these programming languages
  • Test and debug in an organised way with expected, boundary and unexpected data
  • Demonstrate understanding of Human Computer interaction(HCI) using Nielson’s Heuristics (3 hour external examination)
