Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr K. Parslow.

Students will use the context of sport and physical education to develop their understanding of basic sport science and athletic development. Students will be extended in the knowledge and understanding around anatomy, biomechanics and exercise physiology. They will learn about and experience aspects of sports psychology as well challenging socio-cultural understanding. Students will engage in learning in both practical and theoretical contexts.

EQUIPMENT/STATIONERY:
Confirmed stationary lists will be available at the beginning of the school year. It is unlikely that this course will require any items in addition to a laptop computer and some general stationery.
