Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs L. Bailey.

Students will gain a deeper understanding of the English language by having a variety of opportunities for language to be used. There are two broad language streams: creating meaning and making meaning. The course itself will consist of comprehending a variety of texts, responding to texts, writing creatively and formally, presenting orally, using research skills and reading widely and independently. Grammar and spelling are emphasised.
