Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms K. Howe.
This course will further develop student’s knowledge and skills that will prepare them for a broad range of health-related careers. Level 2 provides students the opportunity to have a hands-on approach to Health through our unique Health promotion standard which sees students implement their own projects within the school and community. Students look at mental health and resiliency focusing on strategies to support and improve this. Students will also learn how to analyse current adolescent health issues and look at the impact on New Zealand society as well as developing strategies to address issues around sexuality gender and identity.

In addition to a laptop computer and some general stationery, specific items for each course will be confirmed at the beginning of each school year.
