Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs M. Gleeson.

The course is both theoretical and practical based and is designed for students who are highly competitive in sporting situations. 

Students will cover in greater detail:

  • Anatomy, biomechanical and physiological aspects of the body.
  • Socio cultural understanding
  • Technique analysis
  • The effectiveness of how and why Kotahitanga is promoted in movement.
  • Interpersonal skills in a range of activities
  • Participation in a range of activities.

Equipment/Stationery and Contributions (indicative only)

EQUIPMENT/STATIONERY:
Confirmed stationary lists will be available at the beginning of the school year. It is unlikely that this course will require any items in addition to a laptop computer and some general stationery.
