Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Miss A. Lambert, Mr J. Kyle.
This course is divided into four sections: Section A: Students are required to perform pieces of music on their chosen performance instrument/voice, as a soloist and have the option to perform as a member of a group. Section B: Students are required to compose a selection of music pieces and create an instrumentation. Section C: Students are required to describe the theoretical basis of a variety of music scores and to demonstrate aural/listening skills. Students must be learning a musical instrument through formal tuition either privately or through the school itinerant programme.

EQUIPMENT/STATIONERY:
In addition to a laptop computer and some general stationery, specific items for each course will be confirmed at the beginning of each school year.

- 2B Pencils x3
- 32GB USB Drive
Note:
Electric Guitarists/Bassists need own lead
Drummers need own sticks
