L3 Digital Technology Studies
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr F. Khan.
Students will learn how to:
- Manage a project using project managing tools including agile methodologies such as “scrum” and “waterfall”
- Apply user experience(UX) methodologies to develop a design fo a digital outcome, including competitive analysis, user personas, card sorts, wireframes and high fidelities
- Use complex processes to develop a digital outcome(web or App) synthesising information gained from planning, testing and trialling of components
- Students will study the area of Computer science. Topics include formal languages network communications protocols and big data.

EQUIPMENT/STATIONERY:
In addition to a laptop computer and some general stationery, specific items for each course will be confirmed at the beginning of each school year.
As an indication, for this course you are likely to need:
- USB Drive 16GB
