L1 Drama
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs A. Motion.
Students build on the techniques learned in the previous year, including elements and conventions of theatre and use these in class work and performance. They study a theatre style and undertake an acting role in the class production. Knowledge and understanding of their work is tested in written feedback and in external Achievement Standards. Trips to live theatre performances are a requirement of one external exam. The appropriate Drama black clothing is required.

In addition to a laptop computer and some general stationery, specific items for each course will be confirmed at the beginning of each school year.
